With her beautiful dark green hull, white cabin and classic brown sails, the flat-bottomed De Goede Hoop is an absolute beauty. In addition to the wind, she is powered by a Craftsman marine diesel of 27 hp (2016), which will take you where you want when there is no wind or headwind. This Vollenhovense Bol was once used by Dhr. Jan Kooijman (the builder) to give sailing instructions!
The sailing boat has a nice large sliding hatch. Waking up on board with the morning sun in the hatch; beautiful!
Flat-bottomed sailboat De Goede Hoop was designed by Gipon and built by Kooijman and De Vries under construction number 199. The length of the boat is 8.10m and she has a draft of approx. 70 cm. The boat offers space for 4 to 5 persons. In the cabin you have a headroom of over 1.80 m and under the large sliding hatch over 1.90 m.
It is a pleasure to sail with this boat. In short, an ideal flat-bottomed sailboat to rent for a wonderful sailing holiday on the Wadden Sea or the Frisian lakes!
